Week 2 of the GFL Fall Season is over, but the naming of our weekly awards is just beginning!

Offensive Player of the Week:

The Phoenix defeated the Cougars, 42-34, but it was Mill Lacy of the Cougars who stole the show. With five total touchdowns, 5!, Lacy kept the shorthanded Cougars in the game all the way up till the end.

Lacy had 4 rushing TD's and one passing, willing his team forward. Unfortunately, for him, the effort couldnt pull out a win, but it was valiant all the same.

Defensive Player of the Week:

The Raptors got their first win of the season, beating the Falcons 40-18. And Defensively, Gabriel Robinson has been a real problem.

Racking up 3 sacks and a fumble recovery (that he caused), Robinson ended the Falcons comeback efforts over and over again. Robinson has been a standout on the Raptors defense.

Honorable Mentions:

Offense:

Antonio Fontanez, Raptors

James Martin, Phoenix

Chris Cartwright, Falcons

Defense

Jay Smallz, Phoenix

John Pap, Falcons

Edwin Colon, Cougars
