Week 4 - Playoff Edition

The cracks are starting to show.

Two teams could either fall out of Championship contention this weekend, or, we could be in a free for all in Week 5.

The Falcons would have done themselves a world of good with a win in week 3. Alas, they are now 0-3, and only one scenario gives them a chance to make the Championship game: The Falcons would need to win both this week and next week, the Raptors would need to lose this week, and the Cougars would have to lose next week, setting up a 3-way tie at 2-3 which would come down to the main tie-breaker:

Defensive points allowed. Which the Falcons currently sit in last place. It's a tall order, but the road is there, though they need help from other teams to get there.

For the Raptors, however, the road is less murky: They need to win their last two games and force a tie-breaker with the Cougars. To the Raptors, it doesnt matter if the Cougars win or lose this week, the Raptors just need to win both weeks, which would set up a tie with the Cougars at 3-2.

A loss this week for the Raptors means they would need the Cougars to lose this week as well, and then, again, beat them in Week 5, which would create s tie-breaker at 2-3.

For the Cougars, a trip to the Championship game is a win and a Raptors loss away. However, if the Raptors win this week, it wont matter what the Cougars do, it sets up a win-or-die Week 5 with the Raptors.

For the Phoenix, all they need is a win in either week 4 or 5, doesnt matter which, or to win a tie-breaker at 3-2 should they lose both weeks. It's not a 100% certainty that they make it to the title game, yet, but of all the teams, it's the best outlook.
